What is sulforaphane?

Sulforaphane is a natural plant compound found in many cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale and most abundantly in broccoli sprouts. For a long time, it has been linked to various health benefits.

How sulforaphane is produced
Broccoli sprouts contain the glucosinolatet glucoraphanin and the active enzyme myrosinase. When chopping or chewing the sprouts, glucoraphanin reacts with myrosinase to produce sulforaphane.

This means that sulforaphane is produced when taking the SulforaPlus capsules.
